Trio represents Spartans at Gregory Invite

A group of three athletes competes for Manchester University at the North Central College of Illinois Gregory Invitational Thursday and Friday, May 14 and 15.

Senior jumps specialist Bridgette Rowe (La Quinta, Calif.) seeks to move up the NCAA Division III performance list in the high jump, where she currently sits tied for ninth with a previous best leap of five feet, seven and a quarter inches. Freshman jumps specialist Paige Keller (Greenville, Ohio) hopes the venue of NCC's Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium is good to her for a second successive weekend, as she is in the pole vault field and just a week separated from becoming the first MU female to clear 11-feet-plus in the event which moved her into the national top 70. Sophomore distance runner Mariah Jordan (Fort Wayne, Ind.) runs in the 1500 meters as well.

Event times for the trio are as follows: Thursday – Keller, pole vault, 3 p.m. EST; Rowe, high jump, 4 p.m. EST Thursday; Jordan, 1500, running events begin at approximately 5:45 p.m. EST Friday.

2015 NCAA Division III Championships: The field for the national meet is announced Sunday, May 17, with the event set for Thursday through Saturday, May 21-23, at St. Lawrence University's Merrick-Pinkard Track and Field Complex in Canton, New York.
