NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Manchester Spartans will travel to Terre Haute on Friday January 11 to compete in the "Friday Night Spikes Series Opener" hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Teams competing on Friday include Manchester University, Rose-Hulman, Hanover, and Washington (Mo.).
Friday's indoor meet will be held in the Sports and Recreation Center on the campus of Rose-Hulman and will begin at 6:00 p.m.

* A year ago, both the men and women earned fourth place finishes at the 2018 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor meet hosted by Anderson University.
* 2018 HCAC Freshman of the Year Travis Murr is set to help lead the Spartans. Murr holds program 60-meter and 200-meter dash records.
* Junior Hannah Wappes earned 2018 HCAC indoor Track Athlete of Year honors after winning both the 800 and mile run titles. Wappes holds the program record in the mile and has won three career HCAC indoor event championships.
