Women’s Soccer Stopped by Albion

ALBION, Mich. – The Manchester University women's soccer team fell on the road at Albion College by a final score of 3-0 on Sunday September 8.

The Britons netted a pair of first half goals and added a third in the 54th minute to pull away from the visiting Spartans.

Alexandra Parr (Russiaville, Ind./Western) and Amaya Sunderman (Huntington, Ind./Huntington North) both fired two shots a piece.

Goalie Gabrielle Carreon (Marion, Ind./Canterbury School) collected five saves in goal.

The Spartans dropped to 0-2 on the young season.  Albion College improved to 2-1.  Manchester will travel to Thomas More on Wednesday September 11 for a 7 pm matchup with the Saints.
