Spartan Shorts: A quartet of Black and Gold players has posted multiple goals through eight matches. Sophomore midfielder Allison Moore (Richmond, Ind.) tops the list with three, while junior forward Brandy Crouse (Cleves, Ohio), junior midfielder Bridgette Rowe (La Quinta, Calif.) and senior forward Katelyn Barta (Griffith, Ind.) have tallied two each. Moore is also the team points' leader (seven), while Barta is first in assists (two), and Rowe's 17 shot attempts guide the Spartans … Senior goalkeeper Emily Willmann (Montpelier, Ind.) leads the defense with three wins in net, with one coming by shutout, and 56 saves to her credit … Coach Andy Stout's squad stands 3-5 and is fresh off a strong 4-1 victory over Ohio Athletic Conference power Wilmington College Sept. 27. Tuesday's match is the Spartans' third against the North Coast Athletic Conference this season. They dropped decisions to Kenyon and Denison earlier this month.
