Crouse tabbed HCAC Player of Week

Sophomore women's soccer forward Brandy Crouse (Cleves, Ohio) represented Manchester University on the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference's Player of the Week release for the period ending Sunday, Oct. 13.

Crouse was tabbed the league's women's soccer Player of the Week Monday, Oct. 14. Continuing an impressive recent run where she's scored four goals in the last six matches, the sophomore struck the game winner at Franklin Oct. 8 in a 3-2 decision and then tallied one of the two scores in a 2-1 victory over Transylvania Oct. 12, as the Spartans ended an eight-game regular season series losing skein. Crouse joins junior forward Katelyn Barta (Griffith, Ind.) on the list of MU players that have been recognized this season.

Manchester University takes a 6-6-1 overall and 2-1 conference record to Defiance College of Ohio Tuesday, Oct. 15. Kickoff is 2 p.m.
