Cauffman and Roberts headlined the Friday night fracas at Stauffer-Wolfe Arena. In the end, MU was overcome by seven bonus-point triumphs by the Warriors, but the home fans had plenty to cheer about when the upperclassman duo took the mat. Cauffman, improving to 16-4, took the measure of Cam Fender after an early scoreless period by rolling up 10-second period points. The match was eventually stopped due to a disqualification for multiple stalling call violations by Fender that gave the Black and Gold a 6-4 team lead. Roberts snapped Indiana Tech's six straight victories with a thrilling 8-6 decision over Josue Hill in the fourth meeting between the two individuals. A strong third period on top pushed the senior to his 10th win of the campaign … Roberts became the fifth member of this year's double-digit win club. Chase Wilson leads the group (24 victories), while Cauffman and Napier are tied for second (16), and Phillips and Roberts are tied for fourth with ten apiece. Choate is just one shy of being the sixth entrant, and Tristan Wilson is only two wins from the territory … The Black and Gold continue their current homestand Saturday, Feb. 10, as part of an 11-team field for the 2018 MidStates Invitational. Action gets underway at 9 a.m.
