They're coming off a 71-59 loss at the hands of Hanover College Feb. 6 … Four individuals are ranked among the league's statistical top 10. Senior guard Katie Arterburn (Indianapolis, Ind.) leads the quartet, as he 37.8 percent conversion rate in three-point field goal shooting is fifth-best. Sophomore forward Tori Christlieb (Culver, Ind.) (.8 blocked shots per game – No. 8), senior guard Justine Kruger (Francesville, Ind.) (1.8 steals per contest – T-5th) and sophomore forward Samantha Bolen (Greenwood, Ind.) (78.7 free throw pct. – No. 6) are also in the territory … Looking back at individual highlights from the most recent game, Kruger's 14 points led the way at HC and were added to six rebounds and four steals for a strong line. MU's bench was next on the list, as junior guard Jenifer Lee (Rockville, Ind.) ended with 11 and also picked off two steals, and freshman forward Beth Schaefer (Fort Wayne, Ind.)wound up one rebound shy of a double-double (10 points, nine rebounds). Bolen rounded out the double-digit list, scoring 10 points to go with three blocked shots and two steals. Kruger concluded an impressive week with her Saturday efforts, scoring 25 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, picking up six steals, hitting 83.3 percent from the charity stripe and converting at just under 50 percent from the field in two contests, while Schaefer's point and rebound totals were single-game personal bests; Lee equaled a single-game season high with her point compilation; and Christlieb saw her rebound average continue to climb with nine boards, part of a run in the last four games that's seen a five-tenths improvement (5.5-6). She also blocked three Panther shot attempts, marking the third time in the last four outings she's reached the same number … The Black and Gold captured the first part of the season set with Anderson, winning at home 65-48 late last month. They've won 10 straight and 20 of the last 24 all-time from the Ravens.
