Spartan Shorts: The Spartans take a 5-11 overall and 3-6 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference mark on the road. They're fresh off an impressive 65-48 win over league rival Anderson University Jan. 20, MU's 10th straight and 20th in the last 24 of the series, that lifted them into a three-way tie for sixth on the standings with Mt. Arterburn headlines the group, sitting seventh in three-point field goal accuracy (37.9 pct.), while Christlieb's 5.6 boards per contest are 11th-best; Graham's 2.5 assists per outing are No. 14; and Kruger's 1.4 steals per game are part of a tie for 15th … The Black and Gold's mid-week victory over the Ravens was paced by Arterburn, sophomore forward Samantha Bolen (Greenwood, Ind.) and junior guard Jenifer Lee (Rockville, Ind.). Arterburn compiled her sixth double-digit points game of the year registering a team-high 14, while Lee earned her first collegiate double-double, the program's third of the season, with 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Bolen registered her fourth successive and seventh double-figure scoring effort in the last eight outings tallying 11 points.
