Seven Athletes Highlight 2019 Men’s Outdoor Track & Field All-HCAC Team

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - After a strong, third-place team finish this past weekend at the 2019 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, the Manchester University men's track team had seven student-athletes earn all-conference honors. 

All-HCAC Honorees

Samuel Barnard (Indianapolis, Ind. / Scecina Memorial) and the members of the 4-x-100 relay team were named Second Team All-HCAC.  Barnard finished second in the 3000m-steeplechase with a time of 9:45.33.   The 4-x-100 meter relay team of Austin Coughlin, Travis Murr, Harrison Hollis, and Zacariaous Presha placed second in a highly competitive field with a time of 43.40.

Both Daniel Baker (Okemos, Mich. / Okemos) and Alex Sanders (Kouts, Ind. / Kouts) garnered Honorable Mention All-HCAC honors after respective third-place finishes placed third in the 10,000m and pole vault.  Baker crossed the finish line with a time of 32.34.67.  Sanders cleared a height of 13' 11 1/4" (4.35m).
