MU (3-12-2 overall, 2-6 HCAC) goes into its final match on a bit of a roll, having won two of its last three … The reason for the recent success is two-fold. The Spartans' offense is averaging two goals per contest, while sophomore goalkeeper Craig Thacker (Lebanon, Ind.) sports a 1.33-goals-against average in the span. Thacker continues to rise up the HCAC's saves chart, as he ranks fourth with 66 … Ten players have posted goals, and 12 individuals have scored at least a point on MU's offensive charts. The quartet of sophomore defender/midfielder Drew Vergonet (Elkhart, Ind.), sophomore midfielder Julio Luevano (Aguascalientes, Mexico), junior midfielder Zac Hansen (Muskegon, Mich.) and junior forward/midfielder Loic Youth (Detroit, Mich.) has each scored two goals. Hansen remains the points' leader (seven), and Luevano's 25 total shots and 12 shots on goal lead the squad.
