Black and Gold picked seventh on HCAC poll

Manchester University was picked seventh on the 2013 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference preseason men's soccer coaches poll, released Thursday, Aug. 15.

The Spartans earned 39 ranking points, trailing Earlham College by only eight points for sixth. Three-time defending champion Transylvania University was selected as the conference's preseason favorite with 95 points and seven first-place votes, while Rose-Hulman was a close second, garnering 91 points and two first-place votes.
