CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – Manchester University concluded 2018 with a non-conference game at Thomas More College in Kentucky. The Saints proved too much for the Spartans on Monday afternoon, earning a 100-60 victory.
Manchester was unable to lead in the contest. The Saints were efficient on both ends of the floor, shooting 57.4% (39-68) from the field, while holding the Spartans to 41% (25-61) shooting.
Thomas More led 43-19 at halftime.
Thomas More placed five players in double figures. Damion King led the way for the saints with 19 points. Both Ralph Stone and Brandon Horne posted double doubles.
With the loss, Manchester slipped to 4-7 on the season. Thomas More won its 10th game of the season and improved to 10-7 on the year. The Spartans will return home on Wednesday January 2 against Franklin College. Tip-off from Stauffer-Wolfe Arena is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
