Brown, Dolezal lead MU in Canada

The junior tandem of guard Brady Dolezal (Tipton, Ind.) and forward Matt Brown (Hobart, Ind.) has gotten off to a flying start on Manchester University's five-game exhibition tour of Canada.

Dolezal tossed in 29 points, while Brown added 21 in a 90-72 loss to Mohawk College Oct. 18. The two also each went into double figures in an 80-72 defeat at the hands of Durham College Oct. 19 with Dolezal compiling 17 and Brown finishing with 12. Other strong numbers in the three-game set came from sophomore guard Blake Brouwer (Elkhart, Ind.) who poured in four three-pointers and grabbed eight rebounds to go along with 14 points against Durham; nine points each from senior guard Caleb Jackson (New Castle, Ind.) and junior forward Jarod Schrock (Logansport, Ind.) against Mohawk; and a team-high 16 points from freshman guard Brody Kirby (Frankfort, Ind.) to go with nine points registered by junior forward Brock Armstrong (Logansport, Ind.) during a 70-47 loss to Redeemer University Oct. 18.
