Manchester Athletics Takes Part in NCAA One Team LGBTQ Training

NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - Manchester University became the first member institution of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference to participate in the NCAA LGBTQ One Team Training and Education program on Tuesday November 19.

NCAA Division III One Team LGBTQ Facilitator and head Hanover College softball coach Cori Collinsworth led the two-hour training session.  The One Team LGBTQ Training and Education program was created to help institutions better understand the role of the NCAA in LGBTQ issues, to recognize the importance of LGBTQ inclusion in college athletics and to identify strategies and best practices for institutions.
