A combined nine men's and women's athletes look to improve on 2017 season bests and rising up the NCAA Division III performance list at UW-Stevens Point's last chance national qualifying meet Saturday, March 4.

Spartan Shorts: Coach Brian Cashdollar's roster for the weekend features junior sprinter Harrison Hollis (Lebanon, Ind.); freshman jumps specialist Austin Roberts (Indianapolis, Ind.); and senior distance runners Alex Gudeman (Rochester, Ind.) and Thomas Dean (Bremen, Ind.) for the men and senior thrower Shay Aator (West Lafayette, Ind.); junior thrower Whitney White (Portage, Ind.); senior distance runners Mariah Jordan (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and Tiffany Harber (Columbia City, Ind.); freshman distance runner Hannah Wappes (Columbia City, Ind.); and sophomore sprinter Dasia Beck (Indianapolis, Ind.). Hollis competes in the 60 and 200 meter dashes; Roberts is entered in the long jump; Gudeman will run the 5000; and Dean will compete in the 3000 for the men. Jordan and Harber are each entered in the 5000; Aator will throw the 20-pound weight; White will toss the shot put; Wappes is in the 800; and Beck will compete in the 60 for the women … Aator and Jordan hold down top 60 residence on the current national performance list, as Aator is 18th in the 20-pound weight throw, and Jordan is 59th in the 5000. Harber has a top 100 listing in the 5000 as well (No. 85). Gudeman, Hollis and Roberts are all among the top 200 in their respective events.
2017 NCAA Division III Championships: North Central College of Naperville, Ill.'s Al B. Carius Track is the host venue Friday and Saturday, March 10 and 11. The complete meet field will be announced by the NCAA Monday, March 6.
