TERRE HAUTE, IND. – Three players tallying double-figure points headlined Manchester University's final Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game of the first semester Saturday, Dec. 16.

Junior forward/center Beth Schaefer (Fort Wayne, Ind.) led the trio, garnering 12 points to go with six rebounds against host Rose-Hulman. The sophomore guard tandem of Nicole Weaver (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and Haley Farris (Sharpsville, Ind.) was next with 11 apiece, as Weaver added four assists and two steals to her total, and Farris grabbed four caroms, dished out two assists and picked up a steal.

The Fightin' Engineers' quick beginning inside their home Hulbert Arena proved to be the difference. The HCAC leaders scored 41 of the game's first 55 points and didn't look back in route to a 73-42 victory.

MU (2-6 overall, 1-3 league) continues its winter break schedule Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 18 and 19. They travel to the west coast for games against San Diego Christian and the University of Redlands.
