Forman receives HCAC honor

NORTH MANCHESTER, IND. – Senior men's soccer goalkeeper Brady Forman (Hastings, Mich.) represented Manchester University on the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference's Player of the Week announcement for the period of Sept. 18-24.

Forman was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week after a near-perfect 180 minutes against Ohio Northern University and DePauw University, a pair of NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region powers, last week. In the midst of an 18-10 shots disadvantage, he stonewalled seven Polar Bear shot on goal attempts Sept. 20, as ONU needed a score in the 70th minute to side-step the Black and Gold 1-0. Four days later, he reeled off his third 2017 clean sheet and 10th of his collegiate career, garnering one save to boot, as the Black and Gold knocked off DePauw for the first time in program history by a 1-0 final Sept. 24.
