Twenty-one earn HCAC fall all-academic honors

A combined 10 men’s and women’s cross country student-athletes, five women’s soccer players, three men’s soccer team members, two women’s tennis student-athletes and one volleyball player represented Manchester University on the 2014 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tom Bohlsen fall academic all-conference list, released Wednesday, Dec. 3.

MU’s honorees, by sport, were as follows:

                Women’s Cross Country: Sarah Arney, so., Pendleton, Ind.; Tiffany Harber, so., Columbia City, Ind.; Mariah Jordan, so., Fort Wayne, Ind.; Megan May, sr., Michigan City, Ind.; Peyton Miller, jr., Clayton, Ohio; and Ruth Ritchey – Moore, so., Bryan, Ohio

                Men’s Cross Country: Connor Bresnahan, so., Portage, Mich.; Thomas Dean, so., Bremen, Ind.; Alex Gudeman, so., Rochester, Ind.; and Riley Worl, so., Russiaville, Ind.

                Women’s Soccer: Kari Carpenter, so., Hartford City, Ind.; Brandy Crouse, jr., Cleves, Ohio; Amber Kent, sr., Fountaintown, Ind.; Allison Moore, so., Richmond, Ind.; and Trinity Schelich, sr., Indianapolis, Ind.

                Men’s Soccer: Chase Holford, so., Valparaiso, Ind.; Zac Hansen, sr., Muskegon, Mich.; and Brian Kautz, sr., Indianapolis, Ind.

                Women’s Tennis: Alaina Beckner, so., Columbia City, Ind.; and Adriana Brown, so., Columbia City, Ind.

                Volleyball: Morgan Yoder, sr., Wakarusa, Ind.

Academic all-conference selections have at least a cumulative 3.5 grade-point average and are varsity athletes. Student-athletes must also have completed the equivalent of a full academic year, full-time enrolled, at the institution to be eligible for the award.
