Wrestling Camp

June 25th – 29th
Grades 7-12

Manchester University invites you to experience “a different kind of wrestling camp” through our 2017 Summer Wrestling Camps. Designed for teams and wrestlers of all ages and skill levels, the camp will provide wrestlers and coaches the resources, drills, technical skills, and competition to impact their wrestling far beyond the camp experience. With an emphasis on the process of building high level technical skill, elite tactical knowledge, and creating competitive training situations, camp attendees will leave with a training plan for success for the new season and beyond.

Special guest clinicians highlight the camps daily training sessions and nightly competition opportunities give wrestlers the chance to implement newly learned skills in full-speed competitive situations. Nightly “Coaches Socials” provide a unique learning opportunity for coaches to discuss new training ideas with guest clinicians and coaches. The camp will conclude with an open “Takedown Tournament” giving friends and family the opportunity to see your development first hand.

Located on Manchester’s picturesque campus, wrestling will take place in the Physical Education & Recreation Center (PERC) just steps from the residence halls and dining area. Home to Spartan Athletics, the PERC provides an ideal training environment and Manchester’s Garver Hall and Haist Commons provide air conditioned rooms, common areas with TV’s for relaxation between sessions, and ala cart all-you-can eat style dining.
